New album cover and tracklist!

Dear friends, we're happy to announce that we've completed work on our second album, UNLIMITED EDITION! It will be first released in Russia, in October 2011, and we'll do our best to release it in the rest of the world, as well as release the digital (mp3) version of it!
We're very happy to have special guests like André Andersen (Royal Hunt), Ivan Guskov (Hunters, Pulse), Max Oleynik (Black Obelisk, Ivan Tsarevich) & Vladimir Ermakoff (Black Obelisk, Mechanical Poet) on board, whose amazing talents made this record sound really special!
As it was already said, this one's a concept album, as well as the cover and booklet, so enjoy the tracklist and cover and stay tuned for more updates!

Friday news! Alexandra Popova

ok it's Friday already, so the first weekly update is about our additional singer Alexandra Popova.

After she moved to Sweden last year we had complications putting events with each other, like shows or rehearsals, but luckily she recorded her backing vocals and absolutely amazing lead vocals (yes, she's singing the lead parts on 2 songs this time!) for our upcoming album, so we're happy that we did another album together. But unfortunately, we came to a closure that we should officially part ways. There's not enough words to express how thankful we are for all of her contributions and inspiration and good spirits she brought into the band, and from the bottoms of our hears we wish her to prosper in her musical career and life!

Sasha is now also involved in live backing vocal support for Royal Hunt, and thanks to her we've been mentioned in the legendary BURRN! magazine from Japan! Check out the attached pics :)

Прошло полгода с тех пор, как я в последний раз брал тебя в руки...

Брал в руки?? Нее, это уж слишком... В-общем, мы закончили записывать барабаны, бас, клавиши и гитару, хотя некоторые соло будут ещё дописаны в декабре. Так что вы можете посмотреть как мы это делали в видео, которое представлено ниже. Надеемся, вам понравится, и вы снова будете сюда заходить, поскольку новые обновления будут уже скоро (на этот раз я говорю правду, так как Александр Юров готов ехать на студию уже на следующей неделе). Dear Diary,
It's been half a year since I last took you in my hands...

In my hands?? Nah, that's too much... Anyway, we're done with the drums/bass/keys/guitar recordings, though some of the solos are still left to be recorded in December, I guess. So you can see how we did some of these recordings at Black Obelisk studio in the video below. Hope you'll enjoy it and come back here for more updates which are actually coming soon (this time I'm telling the truth, 'coz Alexander Yurov is about to hit the studio next week). CHEERS!

Думаю, настало время очередного обновления. Итак, вот этот парень, который записал большинство партий на новом альбоме - наш "барабанный робот" (который также отличился на нашем первом альбоме) - Макс Олейник:

А тем временем, где-то в подвале автосервиса, Дмитрий Борисенков и я заканчиваем с работой над барабанными треками...

А я уже начал записывать некоторые клавишные партии! Надеюсь закончить всё на первой неделе июня, чтобы "наш" Дмитрий смог начать запись баса как можно скорее. Ещё больше картинок и аудиофайлов будет представлено совсем скоро, а пока послушайте вот этот отрывок (сыгранный Максом):

I guess it's time for another update. Now... here's the guy who has recorded most of the tracks on the new album - our "drumming robot" (who's been with us on the first album as well) - Max Oleynik:

Meanwhile, somewhere in the car care center basement, Dmitry Borisenkov and I are almost done with editing the drum tracks...

And I've already started recording some of the keyboard parts! I hope to finish recording them by the first week of June, so that "our" Dmitry could start recording his bass parts as soon as possible. More pics and audio files are coming soon, but you should check this one too (played by Max):

Запись барабанов. Начало

Я думаю, что будет лучше, если мы будем закачивать сюда побольше всякой всячины в этому новом студио блоге, и намного чаще, чем в предыдущий.

Недавно я нашёл классный сайт SoundCloud, который даёт возможность закачивать аудио-файлы и представлять их в формате плееров, также рисующих звуковую волну трека.

И то, что вы сейчас услышите это барабанный трек, недавно записанный Владимиром Ермаковым (Чёрный Обелиск), с которым мы также работали на "ONE". Всего он запишет 2 песни на новом альбоме, а другой барабанщик будет объявлен совсем скоро.

Эта песня - баллада, и я подумал, что стиль игры Владимира хорошо впишется в её атмосферу... Ну что ж, слушайте и наслаждайтесь!

Drums...drums...drums...

Okay, everyone! I think it will be better if we post more stuff in this new studio blog, and way more frequently than in the previous one.

I've recently discovered that cool website, SoundCloud, which gives you an opportunity to upload audio files and present them in separate players with waveforms.

And what are you going to experience now is listen to an excerpt from a recently recorded drum track by Vladimir Ermakoff, with whom we've worked on "ONE" as well. He's gonna record 2 songs on the new album; the other "drum guy" will be revealed soon.

The song itself is a ballad, and I thought that Vladimir's playing would be an excellent addition to its sound... Enjoy the drumming!!

Blogging? For EH? Why not?

Ok, I had that idea of making a blog for Eclipse Hunter, featuring all the latest news, events and stuff like that. But this time it's all about... let's say, everyday life of EH - who knows what's gonna come out of this?

I think the Unlimited Edition Studio Blog will be located on this page, eclipse-hunter.blogspot.com, so go tell all your friends about it.
